Truchas Peaks in Autumn

Autumn Repose is a painting of Truchas Peaks in New Mexico just South of Taos from the High Road.

Truchas is famous for its tin roof community and "The Milagro Beanfield War” was filmed there. But for me it's because of its natural beauty and whose people I have come to know while painting there.
