Color Study of the Soldiers and Sailors Monument

I brought several small 5x7 paintings to Gallery Two for our yearly Yuletide Show. These are color studies of scenes in Indianapolis and surrounding areas. I don't often sell my studies until my larger works are completed, or unless I have multiple studies of one subject, which is very common.

In any case, each study, just like every painting, is unique. I rely on them to reignite long forgotten inspiration. They are the seeds that grow into more complex ideas.
